Program Manager

LOCATION: AHMEDABAD, INDIA

The Program Manager at Malbek will be a part of the product engineering team, and their primary responsibility includes project management, product release delivery, and supporting various release management functions.  The ideal candidate will be flexible, organized, detail-oriented, good with people, comfortable working with cross functional teams, and have an eye for process improvement. We prefer local Ahmedabad vicinity candidates. If you are out of state, clearly indicate if you are planning to relocate to Ahmedabad. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Program management and accountability  
  • Program governance and Schedule management  
  • Coordination and communication Plan 
  • Deliverable review and submission.  
  • Ensure adherence to Malbek’s Agile process, Leading daily scrums, or regular scrum of scrum meetings  
  • Dynamic ability to manage internal/external requirements and challenges.  
  • Risk Management and Mitigation 
  • Flexibility to work across time zones (some overlap with US time zones). 
  • Proactive communication and coordination between various functional teams. 
  • Contribute to resource and deliverables planning. 

IDEAL CANDIDATE SKILLS:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related engineering field  
  • Experience with managing multiple projects simultaneously while optimizing schedule, time, and resource allocation. 
  • Excellent project/product management and team management skills  
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills 
  • Well versed and experienced with Agile methodologies 
  • Able to manage and partnering with various functional teams 
  • Excellent people management skill and leadership quality. 
  • Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices. 
  • Strong interpersonal skills and capable of building strong relationships across multiple teams and time zones 
  • Able to drive collaboration, find consensus and influence multiple teams 
  • Able to manage and coordinate regular team meetings.  
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus. 

Experience Required: 7+ years (3+ years in project/product/program management)
