Being that this is my 3rd time at CGI, each time I learn and improvise. From networking to session planning and embracing the Vegas ambiance including evening parties, these suggestions will ensure that you have an engaging and fruitful experience.

If this is your first time attending CLOC, don’t let the size of the event overwhelm you. The CLOC community is known for its warm and inclusive atmosphere. Be open to meeting new people, strike up conversations, and forge valuable connections.
Always remember, networking is the lifeblood of this event, and you never know who you might meet or what insights you could gain from fellow attendees. I’m hearing Braindate’s are all the rage and even hosting one myself about making the most of your CLM investment with Salesforce integrations. Join me on May 17 at 1pm.
- Plan your sessions strategically.
With a vast array of sessions and topics to choose from, it’s essential to plan your schedule wisely. Take the time to review the session lineup and identify those that align closely with your organization’s needs and your personal interests. Remember, balance is key, and a brief respite can rejuvenate your mind and enhance your overall experience. Don’t forget to wear comfortable shoes and attire.

The allure of the Vegas Strip and its dazzling casinos can be irresistible.
If you’re tempted to try your luck, be sure to set a limit for yourself. Remember, CGI is primarily an educational event, and maintaining focus on the professional aspect will ensure you gain the most from your attendance. Enjoy the entertainment and keep your priorities in check.

The exhibit hall at CGI 2023 will be brimming with exciting vendors and booths offering enticing swag. Before diving into the swag frenzy, consider your needs and preferences. Plan ahead and prioritize the vendors you want to visit. If you have kids, ask them what type of swag they value and bring an empty bag to carry it all back on your flights! I have good intel telling me the Malbek swag will impress!
