Background

Colin S. Levy is a recognized voice in legal technology, dedicated to helping the legal industry move beyond tradition and toward smarter, more effective ways of working. As General Counsel at Malbek, he operates at the center of Contract Lifecycle Management, giving him a practitioner’s perspective on how technology reshapes the way legal teams operate day to day.

Colin is the author of The Legal Tech Ecosystem, co-author of CLM for Dummies, and editor of the Handbook of Legal Tech. His writing and commentary appear regularly in Today’s General Counsel, and he serves as a judge for the American Legal Technology Awards. Beyond his work at Malbek, he advises startups and invests in emerging legal technology, staying closely connected to the companies and founders building the next generation of tools for the industry.

Colin’s focus has always been on making legal innovation practical and approachable. He believes that technology should serve the people doing the work, not the other way around, and he brings that perspective to every stage, page, and conversation he’s part of.
